How fabulous is this?? West Hollywood has one of the largest populations of Lesbians and Gays and took to the street to show their pride.
The rainbow pattern was put down on San Vicente and Santa Monica boulevards and was originally planned to be down for a month but city councilors voted to make the rainbow painted crosswalks a permanent part of the city. Woop!
The city councillors say the crosswalks are an important expression of the city’s culture and that it tells visitors that there is a safe place in America where the LGBT community is celebrated.
